Hand-poured in a genuine, reclaimed wooden dough bowl, each candle tells a story. The bowl itself, once used for kneading daily bread, bears the subtle marks and character of its past life, ensuring no two candles are exactly alike.

To Enjoy Your Candle Safely & Responsibly

Your artisan candle is crafted from natural materials, including a flammable wooden bowl. Proper care is essential for both safety and performance.

Essential Safety Precautions

•              Always supervise a burning candle. Never leave it unattended.

•              Keep out of reach of children and pets.

•              Place on a stable, non-flammable surface, away from drafts, flammable materials, and other burning candles (maintain at least 6 inches / 15cm of space).

•              Remove all decorative elements from the wooden bowl before lighting, as they are organic and flammable.

For an Optimal Burn

•              Before each use, trim the wick to ¼ inch (6mm) to prolong burn time and prevent sooting.

•              On the first burn, allow the wax to form a full melt pool across the entire surface. This prevents future tunnelling and ensures an even burn throughout the candle's life. This may take 2-3 hours.

•              Limit burning sessions to a maximum of 3 hours.

•              Extinguish properly using a snuffer to avoid smoke.

Important Warnings

•              Never allow the candle to burn all the way down. Discontinue use when ½ inch (5mm) of wax remains to protect the wooden bowl.

•              The wooden bowl and all its contents are flammable. Failure to follow these instructions significantly increases the risk of fire and can damage the vessel.

Our Craft: We use a clean-burning, non-toxic soy wax blend and premium essential oil-based fragrances. After the wax is gone, we hope you enjoy repurposing the beautiful wooden bowl.
